Baduk Cap allows for the recognition of corners of varying sizes, enabling you to capture problems from printed sources and export them to applications like EasyGo, which incorporates a spaced repetition system for study purposes. What sets Baduk Cap apart is its ability to perform live capture of your ongoing game through automatic move recognition and the option for automatic or Bluetooth-triggered photo taking (this feature is available as an in-app purchase). This feature permits players to concentrate fully on their game, eliminating the need for manual recording.

The app facilitates the inclusion of important game details such as player names, ranks, captured stones, and more. Moreover, users have the flexibility to copy the created SGF file to the clipboard, send it via email, save it to Dropbox, or export it to compatible apps like EasyGo or SmartGo Kifu. Baduk Cap is designed to support board sizes of 9x9, 13x13, and 19x19 and is well-optimized for both iPhone and iPad devices.

The Baduk Cap Pro subscription offers the following one-year plans:

• Scoring Subscription: Determine game outcomes and exact results (with explanations on calculation upon result tap).
• Game Recording Subscription: Live capture games with automatic move recognition, photo capture options, and the ability to broadcast to Mastodon. It includes all features from the Scoring subscription.

These subscriptions do not renew automatically. Users need to manually resubscribe after a year if they wish to continue using the premium features. Alternatively, users can opt for the 'Lifetime Pro' subscription that entails a one-time payment, granting perpetual access to all app features.

Subscribing to any Baduk Cap Pro plan unlocks additional features including Siri shortcuts for snapping photos with voice commands, dark mode, and alternate app icons.
